Read and Click 2 is a unique computer-generated reading resource for Grades 2 and 3 that emphasizes comprehension and reading for meaning by allowing young readers to control what happens in the stories.  Features include:

• 26 randomly variable stories, divided into two difficulty levels, which incorporate elements of children's literature from diverse cultures

• an active reading approach where children read and click what will happen next , requiring them to read for meaning and predict the effects of their choices

• grade-appropriate vocabulary that includes ALL of the high-frequency sight words that children need to know to become confident, fluent readers

• a list of new vocabulary on each page that students can click to hear

• pre and post-story activities that guide young readers through a variety of strategies that they can use to improve their reading

• options to print the complete text of the story or a list of all the titles read during the session for record-keeping purposes

• a printed manual with worksheets, supplementary activities, and curriculum correlations with the content standards of three representative areas: California, Florida, and Ontario
