Spell Way makes having fun with words easy for students from grades 5 to 8. Word games of all kinds challenge students to expand their vocabularies and become champion spellers. Randomly chosen words, both spoken and written, and 10 multi-level activities make Spell Way an engaging and educational experience for students.

Consonants is one of those ten activities. It addresses the skill of recognizing special consonant combinations. This sample is at an EXPERT level (Level 5 of 5 levels) and works like a traditional word scramble. In the full version of this activity, level 5 (below) is preceded by four easier variations where shorter words and optional hints and clues are presented.
